The Jo-Ral Trombone Straight Mute made of spun aluminum, and has been tested to perform evenly in all registers. The copper bottom (TRB-1C) and brass bottom (TRB-1B) mutes offer a slightly warmer, almost dark sound. Jo-Ral mutes also feature neoprene-enhanced composite cork pads that provide extra durability.
