On April 11, we will have the pleasure of welcoming Douglas Pipher, a recognized collector and historian of the Henri Selmer Paris house. Present all day at Twigg Musique Montréal, M, Pipher will be available to meet musicians and discuss their Selmer Paris instruments. Thanks to his in-depth knowledge of the history of Selmer production (from the very first models to modern instruments), he will help you better understand the origin and history of your saxophone.
You are therefore invited to bring your instrument for an individual discussion on its history, its manufacture and its place in the evolution of Selmer Paris!
During the day, Mr. Pipher will also present a special lecture on the recently discovered archives of Elkhart, Indiana. These archives reveal an impressive amount of information about the destination of the Selmer Paris saxophones after their passage through Elkhart, a real treasure for enthusiasts and collectors.
